About

We are looking for a dedicated Cyber Security Systems Analyst to join our team and enhance our security operations. In this role, you will assist in the installation, deployment, and testing of advanced cyber security systems, making crucial decisions that will shape our IT infrastructure. A comprehensive understanding of modern cyber security technology is essential, allowing you to effectively gather data and support your decision-making process. Responsibilities: Collaborate with colleagues to identify and understand their IT needs. Evaluate and assist in testing new cybersecurity hardware and software technologies used by our Security Operations Center (SOC) team to ensure optimal performance. Support the management team in assessing whether the evaluated systems align with business expectations and the technical requirements for upgrades. Contribute to the development of new features for current computer systems. Assist in selecting and installing new software and hardware systems, ensuring our technology remains relevant and effective throughout the system lifecycle. Oversee the installation and setup of new systems, customizing them to meet specific business needs. Conduct tests on systems to verify their functionality and performance. Train end-users and create instructional manuals as necessary. Requirements: Bachelor's or Master's degree in computer science or a related field. Proficiency in distributed networking concepts. In-depth knowledge of hardware and software applications. A strong desire to help develop and support effective business systems. Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present information and engage with various stakeholders. Deep understanding of SOC operations and procedures. Proven ability to define problems, gather data, establish facts, and reach sound conclusions. Capable of collaborating effectively with a diverse team of IT professionals. Experience with inventory control. Technical support experience is a plus. Familiarity with data collection and compliance frameworks such as SOC 2. Preferred Skills/Certifications: Networking Essentials Certification Network Manager Security Course Certification System Administrator Security Course Certification Microsoft Certified Professional Certification CompTIA A+ Certification CompTIA Network+ Certification CISCO Certification (CCNA Security is a plus) Knowledge of Oracle Database Familiarity with JAVA, JavaScript, LINUX, UNIX, TCP/IP, HTML, XML, Shell Scripting, MySQL Experience with LAN/WAN/WAP, DNS/DHCP/WINS, VPN
