We are looking for an experienced Veterinary Technician or Assistant who has a passion for caring for animals, educating clients, and building a strong bond within the veterinary community.

Successful applicants must be able and willing to work any shift (weekdays and Saturdays).
The primary function of the Veterinary Technician/Assistant is assisting the veterinarian in providing medical care and essential job functions include, but are not limited to:
- Perform treatments and administer medications as directed by the veterinarian.
- Perform laboratory tests and radiographs.
- Surgical prep, induction, anesthetic monitoring, and recovery under the direction and supervision of the veterinarians.
- Assist receptionists with triage and incoming patients.
- Communicate with clients/owners about status of patients as directed by the veterinarian.
- Fill prescriptions as needed.
- Participate in all mandatory staff meetings.
- Duties may include but are not limited to checking patients in, collecting deposits and payments, answering client questions in person and on the telephone, helping to keep the clinic clean, doing laundry, cleaning cages, cleaning/sterilizing surgical instruments, etc.
- Must have excellent interpersonal relationship skills in dealing with peers, superiors, customers and Veterinarians.
- Must exhibit professionalism in behavior, appearance, and performance at all times.

*Minimum Experience Requirement: 1 year veterinary experience.*

Pay: $17.00 - $22.00 per hour
Expected hours: 28 – 40 per week
