About
This position supports data-driven operations by managing information systems, generating custom reports, and assisting in the maintenance of IT infrastructure to ensure business continuity and performance.
Duties and Responsibilities
Develops functional knowledge of the Eclipse ERP with in-depth understanding of Eclipse data management. Serves as backup for coordinating support cases with Epicor/Eclipse.
Develops strong skills in using Eclipse, SQL and MITS to create custom reports.
Coordinates services as needed from existing US Supply IT consultants
Back up for IT Specialist in several areas:
o routine system admin functions such as editing domain/email users, MITS users, Eclipse and email distribution lists, credit card equipment and function, cell phone swap outs and equipment maintenance/set up, warehouse equipment (RF guns, etc)
o routine deployment of new PC's, laptops, printers, barcode scanners and phones.
o routine updates server applications and PC operating systems.
o routine support of 3rd party services including ISP, Office 365, VOIP and ESET antivirus applications.
Back up to Product/Price Database administrator who updates vendor data in Eclipse.
Maintains and optimizes transactional websites and database infrastructure
Works closely with functional managers to define new reporting needs and priorities.
Identifies additional technological advancements to improve systems' security, efficiency and data accessibility. Serves as project manager for implementation
In the intermediate future, pending evaluation of performance, skills and capabilities, may be assigned role of IT Manager who would supervise our IT Specialist and Product Data Administrator.
Skill Requirements
Bachelor's Degree: Preferred in Information Systems, Computer Science, Data Management, or a related field.
Relevant coursework, certifications and/or practical experience in database management, SQL, data analysis, and business intelligence.
Custom reporting and data analysis experience
Strong communication, problem-solving, and time management skills for cross-functional collaboration
Experience with Epicor Eclipse ERP preferred
Experience maintaining and optimizing website and database infrastructure preferred
Experience supervising others preferred
Work Environment
Primary work environment is in our corporate office. Periodic needs to work at a branch counter or warehouse environment.
Travel
Travel is often required to go to other branch locations.
Physical Requirements : Ability to sit for long periods of time, bend and reach, and to lift up to 50 lbs from ground level. Ability to type data and read computer screen.
Position Type and Expected hours of work:
Full Time/Regular. 7:30-4:30 Monday - Friday. Hours may be altered by Manager to accommodate work flow, personnel schedules and business need. This is an exempt position and will require the time needed to perform responsibilities, meet deadlines and achieve goals. Some tasks may need to be performed after work hours and/or on weekends.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year
