About

We are seeking a high-impact Senior AI & Machine Learning Scientist to join our team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between complex data theory and real-world business solutions, specifically focusing on the intersection of Generative AI and Document Intelligence.
You will be responsible for the end-to-end lifecycle of machine learning models-from initial research and RAG architecture design to deploying scalable solutions within our AWS and Databricks ecosystem. The ideal candidate isn't just a coder, but a technical translator who can turn unstructured data into actionable insights and explain the "how" and "why" to our stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities Architect & Deploy: Design, build, and maintain production-grade ML models and Generative AI applications (LLMs) using RAG architectures.
Unstructured Data Mastery: Develop "Document AI" pipelines to extract, process, and analyze complex insights from large-scale unstructured datasets.
Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with non-technical stakeholders to identify business pain points and engineer technical AI solutions that drive value.
Scale & Optimize: Leverage AWS (SageMaker/Bedrock) and Databricks to ensure models are performant, scalable, and integrated into the broader tech stack.
Lead Innovation: Stay at the forefront of ML frameworks (PyTorch, TensorFlow, Hugging Face) to continuously improve our internal modeling standards.
What You Bring Advanced Academic Background: A Master's degree in a quantitative field (Data Science, CS, Stats, etc.).
Industry Expertise: 4+ years of professional experience in DS/ML roles with a proven track record of moving models out of the "sandbox" and into production.
Technical Versatility: Deep Python expertise, SQL fluency, and experience with statistical languages (like R or SparklyR).
Cloud & Tooling Savvy: Hands-on experience with AWS AI/ML services; familiarity with Starburst and Databricks is a significant plus.
