Bank of America is seeking a Data Analyst to support its Global Corporate & Investment Banking data management program. The role involves executing data management policies, engaging with stakeholders, and ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements while enhancing operational excellence.
Responsibilities : • Execute business-as-usual with utmost priority to ensure speed, accuracy, alignment to program objectives and improving execution efficiency. • Responsible for executing Data Management policy and standards requirements • Execution of data management program deliverables - GCIB process/report/dataflow/records assessments, executing governance routines, keeping controls and metrics satisfactory, preparing reports for senior management and stakeholders • Execute data program with an approach for successful implementation, clear documentation and sustainability • Support execution of all responsibilities defined for the GCIB data management named roles in policy and standards while maintaining evidence of execution • Regular engagement with stakeholders for review of areas impacting GCIB data risks • Engage in audits, regulatory exams and target assessments • Establish and execute review of GCIB processes so that they remain adherent to relevant requirements • Coordinate across GCIB product areas to ensure consensus on approach for implementation and execution • Escalate risks to programs. Partner with key stakeholders and develop solutions and deliver mitigating actions in support of successful completion of the program • Develop strong relationships to navigate the complexities of gaining buy-in, building consensus, and resolving conflicts in a large, distributed organization
Qualifications : Required : • 3-5+ years of experience in data risk programs; Experience in similar role • Proven prior experience in roles involving policy and standards adherence or data management • Strong team-player attitude and desire to learn with a result driven approach • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and ability to simplify and summarize complex data priorities/ technical concepts to executive stakeholders • Ability to work in fast-paced, work-intensive organization and be able to adapt to changing priorities while delivering with high accuracy • Familiarity GCIB business and products and can take ownership of delivery • Ability to operate independently and collaborate across stakeholders including bankers, senior leaders, risk partners and regulators / auditors • Control focused mindset; understands regulatory and reputational risks
