Partnership HealthPlan of California is seeking a Data Analytics and Reporting Developer responsible for designing and developing data reports and dashboards to support business decisions. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams, ensuring data accuracy, and optimizing reporting processes for improved efficiency and decision-making.
Responsibilities : • Designs, develops, and maintains custom reports and dashboards to meet the data needs of various business units. • Builds interactive and visually appealing dashboards using tools like Power BI, Tableau, or other BI platforms. • Extracts, transforms, and loads (ETL) data from multiple sources into the reporting tools and systems. • Ensures data integrity and accuracy through rigorous validation and quality checks. • Applies analytical techniques and tools to uncover trends, patterns, and insights in large datasets. • Performs ad-hoc analysis and deep dives into specific areas of interest based on stakeholder needs. • Works closely with business users, managers, and leadership to understand reporting requirements and translate them into effective data solutions. • Automates recurring reports and data flows to increase efficiency and reduce manual intervention. • Evaluates and implements new reporting tools, technologies, and methods to improve data analysis capabilities. • Stays current with industry trends and emerging technologies in data analytics and reporting.
Qualifications : Required : • Bachelor’s degree in information technology, Computer Science, or related field; or equivalent work experience. • Five years of experience in Information Systems. • Two to five years of experience in health care. • Proven experience in developing and managing reports and dashboards using tools such as Power BI, Tableau, Excel, or similar. • Strong problem-solving skills with a focus on optimizing data reporting processes. • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team-oriented environment. • Proficiency in data visualization tools like Power BI or Tableau is essential. • Strong skills in SQL for data querying. • Expertise in data modeling and ETL processes.
Preferred : • Power BI certification (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Data Analyst Associate). • Additional certifications in analytics or business intelligence tools are a plus.
