We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Technician to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in IT infrastructure and computer networking, with hands-on experience using various tools and equipment. This role involves building and maintaining telecommunications systems, ensuring efficient operation, and troubleshooting issues as they arise.
Responsibilities
Install, configure, and maintain Ethernet networks and related IT infrastructure.
Utilize power tools and hand tools to build and repair telecommunication systems.
Read and interpret electrical schematics to understand system layouts.
Conduct regular inspections and maintenance of equipment to ensure optimal performance.
Troubleshoot network issues, providing timely resolutions to minimize downtime.
Collaborate with team members to implement new technologies and upgrades.
Document all work performed, including system configurations and maintenance logs.
Qualifications
Proven experience in computer networking and IT infrastructure management.
Proficiency in using power tools, hand tools, and electrical equipment.
Strong understanding of Ethernet standards and telecommunications systems.
Ability to read and interpret technical schematics effectively.
Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented tasks.
Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with team members.
A valid driver's license may be required for travel between job sites.
