Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (e.g., sit-down, stand-up, reach truck) to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Transport raw materials, full goods, and finished goods to and from storage and production areas.
- Stack and arrange merchandise in designated areas according to safety and company guidelines.
- Perform daily inspections of forklifts and report any maintenance issues immediately.
- Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and stock placement.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, including the proper use of PPE.
- Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring clear pathways.
- Support overall logistics operations through efficient material handling.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator with valid certification.
- Proficiency in operating various types of forklifts.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs occasionally.
- Strong understanding of warehouse operations and logistics principles.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to safety.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- Must be reliable and punctual.
- Willingness to consistently use required PPE.
