We are seeking a certified and experienced Forklift Operator to join our dynamic logistics team in Miami, Florida. The ideal candidate will be responsible for operating forklifts safely and efficiently to move, locate, relocate, stack, and count merchandise. This role is critical to maintaining the smooth flow of goods within our warehouse operations. You will be performing general warehouse duties as needed, including picking and packing orders, loading and unloading trucks, and maintaining a clean and organized work environment. Our commitment to safety is paramount, and all employees are expected to adhere to strict safety protocols and wear appropriate PPE at all times. This position involves significant physical activity, including frequent Lifting of up to 50 lbs. Experience with various types of forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) is highly desirable. A strong understanding of warehouse operations and inventory management is a plus. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts to move materials throughout the warehouse.
- Load and unload trucks efficiently and accurately.
- Pick and pack orders for shipment.
- Conduct pre-operational checks on forklifts to ensure they are in good working order.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and company policies.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Report any equipment malfunctions or safety hazards immediately.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid forklift operator certification.
- Proven experience operating forklifts in a warehouse environment.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work flexible hours, including occasional weekends.
