Join our vibrant logistics team in Minneapolis, Minnesota as an Order Picker! We are looking for detail-oriented individuals to accurately pick products for customer orders. Your role is essential in ensuring the efficient operation of our warehouse and the timely delivery of goods. You will work with RF scanners and follow pick lists to retrieve items from shelves, ensuring accuracy and minimizing errors. This position involves significant physical activity, including standing, walking, and lifting. Safety is our top priority, and we provide all necessary PPE. Responsibilities:
- Receive and process picking orders accurately using RF scanners or other devices.
- Locate and retrieve items from warehouse shelves.
- Verify picked items against order specifications.
- Pack items securely for shipment.
- Maintain a clean and organized workstation.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock put-away.
- Adhere strictly to all safety regulations and use appropriate PPE.
- Operate hand trucks and pallet jacks as needed.
- Meet established picking and packing productivity goals.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience as an order picker or in a warehouse environment is advantageous.
- Ability to lift up to 40 lbs regularly.
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse setting.
- Good communication and teamwork skills.
- Understanding of safety protocols and the importance of PPE.
