We are seeking dedicated and reliable Picker/Packers to join our dynamic logistics team in Atlanta, Georgia. As a Picker/Packer, you will be responsible for accurately retrieving items from warehouse shelves and preparing them for shipment. This role is crucial to our efficient warehouse operations, ensuring that orders are fulfilled correctly and on time. You will work closely with the warehouse management to maintain optimal inventory levels and contribute to a positive and productive work environment. Attention to detail and the ability to work in a fast-paced setting are key to success in this position. Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick customer orders using RF scanners or pick sheets.
- Pack items securely and efficiently for shipment, ensuring product integrity.
- Verify picked items against order details to minimize errors.
- Label packages accurately with shipping information.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock replenishment as needed.
- Adhere to all safety regulations and protocols.
- Operate warehouse equipment as trained.
- Contribute to team goals and overall logistics efficiency.
- Perform other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent preferred.
- Previous experience in a warehouse or picking/packing role is a plus.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Basic understanding of inventory management.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Comfortable working in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures.
- Knowledge of safety procedures and the proper use of PPE.
