Join our growing team as a Distribution Center Associate in Charlotte, North Carolina! This role is fundamental to our logistics operations, ensuring that products are processed and distributed efficiently. You will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping orders. A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety are essential for success in this fast-paced environment. You will work closely with other team members to achieve daily operational goals and maintain the integrity of our inventory.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately receive, inspect, and store incoming inventory.
- Pick items for orders using RF scanners or other devices.
- Pack orders securely and efficiently for shipment.
- Load and unload delivery vehicles, practicing safe lifting techniques.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area within the distribution center.
- Strictly follow all company safety regulations and policies, including wearing required Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Conduct routine inventory checks and assist with stocktaking.
- Contribute to the overall efficiency of the logistics process.
- Perform tasks that may involve frequent lifting of up to 50 pounds.
- Collaborate with colleagues to ensure smooth workflow and timely order fulfillment.
Qualifications:
Previous experience in a warehouse or distribution center environment is preferred. Ability to work effectively in a team and independently. Physical capability to perform tasks involving standing, walking, bending, and lifting for extended periods. Understanding of basic logistics and warehouse operations. Dedication to maintaining a safe workplace and adhering to all safety guidelines.
