Responsibilities:
- Receive, identify, and stock incoming materials.
- Transport materials to and from various departments within the warehouse using appropriate equipment.
- Load and unload materials from trucks and containers.
- Perform regular checks on equipment and report any maintenance needs.
- Ensure proper storage and organization of materials to maximize space and accessibility.
- Assist with inventory counts and record-keeping.
- Adhere to all safety procedures, including the correct use of PPE and material handling equipment.
- Maintain a clean and orderly work environment.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience in a material handler, warehouse, or similar role is preferred.
- Ability to perform significant Lifting (up to 60 lbs) and physical tasks.
- Understanding of warehouse safety protocols and material handling best practices.
- Familiarity with logistics operations and inventory control principles.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to operate various types of material handling equipment safely.
- Willingness to work in a team-oriented environment.
