Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and motivated Warehouse Supervisor to lead our operations in Nashville, Tennessee. The Warehouse Supervisor will be responsible for overseeing daily warehouse activities, managing a team of warehouse associates, and ensuring efficient and safe operations. This critical role requires strong leadership, excellent organizational skills, and a deep understanding of warehouse logistics and safety protocols. You will be instrumental in driving productivity, maintaining inventory accuracy, and fostering a culture of safety and continuous improvement within the warehouse.
Responsibilities:
  • Supervise and coordinate the activities of warehouse staff, including assigning tasks and monitoring performance.
  • Ensure efficient and accurate receiving, stocking, picking, packing, and shipping of goods.
  • Manage inventory levels and conduct regular cycle counts.
  • Implement and enforce all safety regulations and procedures, ensuring proper use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
  • Train and mentor warehouse associates on job duties, safety procedures, and operational best practices.
  • Optimize warehouse layout and workflow for maximum efficiency.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment.
  • Manage equipment maintenance and ensure operational readiness.
  • Collaborate with other departments to ensure smooth logistics operations.
  • Investigate and resolve operational issues and employee concerns.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent; Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or related field preferred.
  • Proven experience in a warehouse supervisory role.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse operations, inventory management, and logistics.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Warehouse Management Systems (WMS) and other relevant software.
  • Ability to enforce safety policies and ensure compliance with all safety standards.
  • Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform other physically demanding tasks as needed.
  • Demonstrated ability to train and motivate a team.
  • Problem-solving and decision-making skills.
