About
We are hiring a Picker/Packer for our Dallas, Texas distribution center! In this essential role, you will be responsible for accurately selecting customer orders and preparing them for shipment. Your duties will include picking items from inventory, verifying quantities, and carefully packing products to ensure they arrive safely. Responsibilities:
- Select items from inventory based on order specifications using RF scanners.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items and quantities against the order.
- Pack products securely, using appropriate materials to prevent damage during transit.
- Apply shipping labels and documentation accurately.
- Maintain a clean and orderly workstation and surrounding work area.
- Follow all company **safety** policies and **PPE** requirements.
- Assist with inventory counts and stock rotation.
- Perform other warehouse duties as needed to support **Logistics** operations.
- Must be able to perform **Lifting** of items up to 40 lbs.
- Contribute to overall **Safety** compliance.
Qualifications:
High school diploma or equivalent. Experience in a warehouse, order picking, or packing role is preferred. Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment. Strong attention to detail and accuracy. Ability to perform physical tasks, including **Lifting** up to 40 lbs. Understanding of **PPE** and warehouse **safety** practices. Good communication skills. Team-oriented attitude. Familiarity with **logistics** terminology is a plus. Must be committed to workplace **safety**.
