About
We are seeking an energetic and meticulous Order Picker to join our fast-paced warehouse operations in Minneapolis, Minnesota. As an Order Picker, you will play a vital role in ensuring that customer orders are accurately and efficiently assembled. Your ability to read order details, locate items, and prepare them for shipment will directly impact our customer service and operational success. This role requires physical stamina and a keen eye for detail within the demanding environment of modern logistics.
Responsibilities:
- Read and interpret order slips to identify items to be picked.
- Locate and retrieve specific items from warehouse inventory using pick lists or scanning devices.
- Transport picked items to the packing station or staging area.
- Ensure the accuracy of picked items against the order details.
- Perform quality checks on products to identify any damages or defects.
- Adhere to all warehouse safety regulations and protocols, including the correct use of PPE.
- Operate pallet jacks or other equipment to assist with Lifting and moving inventory.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area to promote efficiency and safety.
- Participate in regular inventory counts and stock rotation activities.
- Collaborate with other warehouse team members to ensure smooth workflow and meet daily targets in our logistics operations.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as an Order Picker or in a similar warehouse role is advantageous.
- Ability to perform tasks involving regular Lifting of items up to 45 lbs.
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting order instructions.
- Knowledge of warehouse safety best practices and a commitment to using required PPE.
- Strong attention to detail and a focus on accuracy.
- Ability to work efficiently in a physically demanding environment.
- Good communication skills and the ability to work cooperatively in a team.
- Reliability and punctuality are essential for success in this logistics position.
