Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Material Handler to join our operations in Austin, Texas. In this critical role, you will be responsible for the efficient movement, storage, and organization of materials within our warehouse and distribution center. You will operate various material handling equipment, ensuring that products are moved safely and accurately to support our logistics workflow. A strong understanding of warehouse operations, a commitment to safety, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential. Your expertise will contribute significantly to the smooth functioning of our supply chain.
Responsibilities:
  • Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, reach trucks, and other warehouse equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Load and unload materials from trucks, trailers, and containers.
  • Transport raw materials, finished goods, and equipment throughout the facility.
  • Organize and store materials in designated areas, ensuring proper placement and inventory control.
  • Assist with inventory management, including cycle counts and discrepancy resolution.
  • Maintain equipment and report any maintenance needs.
  • Adhere to all safety regulations and procedures, utilizing necessary PPE at all times.
  • Follow daily work orders and instructions from supervisors.
  • Participate in warehouse clean-up and organization efforts.
  • Contribute to a safe and productive work environment through proactive safety practices.

Qualifications:
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role.
  • Valid forklift operator certification or willingness to obtain one.
  • Proficiency in operating various types of material handling equipment.
  • Ability to lift and move heavy items (up to 60 pounds) regularly.
  • Strong understanding of warehouse safety protocols and procedures.
  • Knowledge of logistics and inventory management principles.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good communication and problem-solving skills.
  • Physical stamina to perform demanding tasks in a warehouse environment.
