We are hiring a dedicated Warehouse Worker for our facility in Virginia Beach, Virginia. In this role, you will be instrumental in the day-to-day operations of our warehouse, handling a variety of tasks that support our logistics and distribution processes. This includes moving materials, operating equipment, maintaining inventory accuracy, and ensuring the safety and security of the warehouse. Responsibilities:
- Sort, organize, and move materials within the warehouse.
- Load and unload products from trucks and containers.
- Operate hand trucks, forklifts, and other material handling equipment.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records.
- Identify and report damaged goods or safety hazards.
- Keep the warehouse clean, organized, and free of clutter.
- Follow all safety guidelines and procedures to ensure a secure working environment.
- Pick and pack orders as required.
- Assist with shipping and receiving tasks.
- Collaborate with team members to achieve daily operational goals.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or GED.
- Previous experience as a warehouse worker or in a similar role is a plus.
- Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting up to 50 pounds.
- Comfortable working in a dynamic warehouse environment.
- Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Familiarity with basic logistics concepts.
- Willingness to wear appropriate PPE as required.
- Ability to stand, walk, and bend for extended periods.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Team player with good communication skills.
