Your responsibilities will include operating forklifts to load and unload shipments, transport goods to storage locations, and assist with inventory management. This role is integral to our supply chain operations, ensuring that all goods are handled efficiently and securely. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of forklift operations, a commitment to workplace safety, and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities:
- Operate forklifts safely and efficiently to move products and materials.
- Load and unload trucks and containers in a timely manner.
- Transport inventory between different areas of the warehouse.
- Perform routine inspections of forklift equipment before use.
- Assist in maintaining accurate inventory records and stock rotation.
- Follow all safety protocols and procedures, including the mandatory use of PPE .
- Contribute to the overall smooth functioning of our logistics processes.
- Ability to handle occasional lifting of up to 50 lbs.
- Work collaboratively with warehouse staff to meet operational targets.
- Report any operational or safety issues to management promptly.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience operating forklifts is required.
- Forklift certification is preferred.
- Knowledge of warehouse procedures and material handling.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Physical stamina for warehouse duties.
- Good communication skills.
