Our growing company is looking for a skilled Forklift Operator to join our Charlotte, North Carolina warehouse operations. In this role, you will be instrumental in managing the flow of goods, ensuring efficient loading, unloading, and movement of materials. Responsibilities include operating forklifts safely and effectively, performing routine inspections, and maintaining accurate inventory records. This position is vital to our logistics network, ensuring that our products are handled with the utmost care and precision. The ideal candidate will possess a strong commitment to workplace safety, excellent maneuvering skills, and a solid understanding of warehouse procedures. Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate various types of forklifts to move, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trailers and containers accurately and efficiently.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklift equipment.
- Transport materials to and from designated areas within the warehouse.
- Maintain organized storage of goods and contribute to inventory accuracy.
- Follow all safety regulations and company policies, including the correct use of PPE .
- Support the overall efficiency of our logistics operations.
- Handle tasks requiring moderate lifting , up to 45 lbs.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth warehouse operations.
- Report any equipment issues or safety concerns immediately.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a Forklift Operator.
- Valid forklift certification is a strong asset.
- Knowledge of warehouse operations and material handling techniques.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
- Good communication skills and a professional attitude.
