Responsibilities:
- Receive, unload, and move materials within the warehouse using pallet jacks, hand trucks, and other equipment.
- Sort, organize, and stage materials for production, shipping, or receiving.
- Load and unload delivery trucks, ensuring accuracy and safety.
- Perform regular inspections of material handling equipment and report any issues.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company policies and safety regulations, including mandatory use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Assist with inventory management and cycle counts as required.
- Follow verbal and written instructions precisely.
- Participate in team efforts to meet operational deadlines.
- Regularly engage in lifting and moving materials.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience as a Material Handler or in a similar warehouse role is preferred.
- Proficiency in operating manual material handling equipment.
- Ability to read and understand shipping documents and labels.
- Must be capable of performing frequent lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods.
- Ability to handle lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Strong understanding of warehouse safety procedures.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced logistics environment.
- Good teamwork and communication skills.
- Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic.
- Willingness to work flexible hours as needed.
