We are looking for skilled and safety-conscious individuals to operate forklifts and manage the movement of materials within our state-of-the-art facility. You will be instrumental in ensuring the efficient flow of goods, from receiving to shipping, contributing directly to our overall logistics success. Responsibilities:
- Safely operate forklifts (sit-down, stand-up, reach trucks) to transport, stack, and retrieve inventory.
- Load and unload trailers efficiently and accurately, ensuring proper securing of loads.
- Perform daily pre-operation checks on forklifts and report any maintenance needs.
- Maintain accurate inventory records by moving items to correct locations within the warehouse.
- Follow all established Safety protocols and procedures, including the correct use of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE).
- Collaborate with team members and supervisors to meet operational goals and deadlines.
- Understand and implement effective Logistics practices for material handling.
- Organize and maintain the cleanliness of warehouse aisles and storage areas.
- Identify and report any potential hazards to ensure a safe working environment for all.
- Be prepared for tasks that require physical exertion and moderate Lifting.
- Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Qualifications:
- Certified Forklift Operator with proven experience.
- Demonstrated ability to operate various types of forklifts safely and efficiently.
- Solid understanding of warehouse operations and Logistics principles.
- Knowledge of Safety regulations and best practices in a warehouse setting.
- Ability to perform physical tasks, including frequent movement and occasional Lifting.
- Strong attention to detail and good organizational skills.
- Excellent teamwork and communication abilities.
- Ability to work independently and manage time effectively.
- High school diploma or equivalent.
