About
Seeking a dedicated Picker/Packer for our Cincinnati, Ohio warehouse! This is a hands-on role critical to our logistics chain, where you'll be responsible for accurately retrieving items and preparing them for shipment. Your duties will include using scanners or pick lists to locate products on shelves, inspecting items for quality, and packing them securely using appropriate materials. We pride ourselves on efficient and accurate order fulfillment, and your role is central to achieving this goal. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, able to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment, and committed to maintaining high standards of Safety. This position involves regular physical activity, including standing, walking, and Lifting. We provide comprehensive training and a supportive team environment to ensure your success.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick items from warehouse locations based on order details.
- Inspect products for damage before packing.
- Select appropriate packaging materials and pack orders securely.
- Label shipments correctly with destination information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment.
- Adhere to all company Safety policies and wear mandatory PPE.
- Assist with inventory management tasks as needed.
- Meet established productivity goals for picking and packing.
- Perform regular Lifting of packages and products.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous warehouse experience, especially in picking and packing, is beneficial.
- Ability to stand and move for extended periods.
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy in order fulfillment.
- Capability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Must be able to handle Lifting requirements up to 50 lbs.
- Knowledge of warehouse Safety best practices.
- Understanding of logistics processes is a plus.
