Your responsibilities will include accurately picking items from our extensive inventory, meticulously packing them for secure shipment, and preparing orders for dispatch. This role is crucial for customer satisfaction and requires a keen eye for detail, efficiency, and a strong commitment to maintaining a safe working environment. You will be expected to perform frequent lifting, stand for extended periods, and navigate our warehouse efficiently. Strict adherence to all safety regulations and the mandatory use of personal protective equipment (PPE) is paramount. Responsibilities:
- Accurately retrieve items from warehouse shelves based on order tickets.
- Verify the accuracy of picked items against order details.
- Pack items securely and professionally using appropriate materials.
- Apply shipping labels and necessary documentation to packages.
- Stage completed orders for efficient carrier pick-up.
- Keep workstation and surrounding areas clean and organized.
- Comply with all company safety policies and the use of PPE.
- Achieve assigned productivity and quality standards.
- Support inventory management activities, including stock checks.
- Communicate any challenges or discrepancies to supervisors immediately.
- Contribute to the smooth and effective execution of our logistics workflow.
- Undertake other warehouse duties as assigned.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Previous experience in fulfillment or warehouse operations is preferred.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
- Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy.
- Capacity to work efficiently in a high-volume environment.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Understanding of warehouse safety best practices and the importance of PPE.
