has an opening for a
Principal
Data Analytics & Tools Administrator
to support Business Process Modeling & Transformation. This role combines data analytics, system administration, and task management to ensure smooth operations, maintain tool integrity, and proactively identify potential issues before they impact the team. The position also supports the deployment and rollout of Nimbus once the architecture is built.
This position will be based in
Redondo Beach, CA
. Telecommuting will be considered on a case-by-case basis.
Responsibilities:
Analyze and manage team data using Excel; create dashboards and reports to support decision-making.
Support administration of Nimbus process modeling tool; maintain architecture integrity and support deployment and rollout.
Support Azure DevOps development and workflow tweaks as requested by the IPT to optimize task tracking and reporting.
Proactively identify potential issues in tools, data, or processes and escalate with solutions before they impact the team.
Troubleshoot system and data issues and implement improvements to boost team productivity.
Support cross-functional initiatives requiring technical and analytical expertise
Process Modeling as needed
Basic Qualifications:
Bachelors Degree in Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics (STEM) with 5 years data analytics, system administration, or technical project support; OR Masters Degree in STEM with 3 years of experience.
Hands-on experience in data analytics and system/tool administration.
Experience supporting development and/or workflow configuration in Azure DevOps
Strong Excel skills for data analysis and reporting; experience with Power BI or Tableau preferred
Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving and driving solutions with the IPT and Architect
Ability to support deployment and rollout of process modeling tools.
Preferred Qualifications:
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government DoD Top Secret security clearance, and SCI approval/access.
Experience with Power BI and Tableau for data visualization.
Knowledge of system architecture best practice and data governance.
Experience with Artificial Intelligence (AI)
Prior experience in process engineering or technical project support.
Familiarity with workflow optimization and process improvement initiatives.
Programming experience and/or SharePoint development for automation and streamlining efficiencies
Experience working within cross functional teams
Excellent communication skills
Primary Level Salary Range: $103,600.00 - $155,400.00
The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.
Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
