A food manufacturer is looking for a QA Manager to lead a 16-person QA team, support operations on the factory floor, and strengthen a quality culture that already takes food safety seriously. You'd be responsible for: Leading and developing the QA team
Supporting production with daily QA presence on the floor
Managing internal audits (GMP, hygiene, traceability)
Supporting BRCGS and customer audits
Handling non-conformances, complaints and investigations
Overseeing CCP verification and quality checks
Supporting HACCP reviews and QMS improvements
Analysing quality data and trends to drive improvement
This isn't a “sit in the office and review paperwork” QA job. You'll be visible on the floor, close to operations, and trusted to make decisions based on data.
The site wants someone who: Knows HACCP and QMS inside out
Can lead a QA team properly (not just manage spreadsheets)
Understands factory pressures
Can challenge when needed but still build relationships
It could suit someone already running QA teams… or a Senior QA ready to step up.
