About

*The Opportunity*
We have implemented a modern ERP, to power our next phase of growth. We aren't looking for a "data entry clerk"—we are looking for a Data Detective.
In this role, you will start by performing "forensic" data cleansing: taking 8,000+ contacts and 700+ customers from various legacy sources (spreadsheets, paper, and "tribal knowledge") and building a clean, high-functioning database. As you master our systems, you will grow into a Customer Onboarding role, acting as a bridge between our data, our internal teams, and our clients.
*What You’ll Do (Phase 1: The Forensic Build)*
* *Data Migration & Cleansing:* Deduplicate and merge customer data from multiple sources into the ERP. You would ensure that "International Business Machines" and "IBM" become one clean record.
* *Information Mining:* Partner with our long-term staff to capture "tribal knowledge" about corporate accounts and locations, then structure that data correctly in the system.
* *Legacy Digitization:* Audit and upload older paper records into the digital ERP to ensure no history is lost.
* *Database Enrichment:* Segment customers by size and *NAICS codes* to help our team understand our market better.
* *System Synergy:* Ensure data flows correctly between systems, our route optimization tool, and our Customer Portal.
*Where You’ll Grow (Phase 2: Customer Success)*
* *Onboarding Ownership:* Become the lead for onboarding new clients, ensuring their data is perfect from Day 1.
* *Proactive Outreach:* Call new customers to verify contacts, service locations, and specific account needs.
* *Data Governance:* Work with the Account Management team to keep our "source of truth" clean and synchronized across all platforms.
*The Ideal Candidate*
* *The "Detective" Mindset:* You don't just input data; you look for patterns, spot errors, and want to know "why" the data looks the way it does.
* *Software Intuitive:* You are comfortable with modern, cloud-based apps. You don’t need a manual to figure out a new interface. (Experience with Odoo, Salesforce, or NetSuite is a plus).
* *Communication Skills:* You are comfortable talking to internal teams and picking up the phone to clarify information with customers.
* *Detail Obsessed:* You believe that a missing suite number or a misspelled email is a major problem that needs fixing.
* *Local & Reliable:* You are looking for a long-term home in the Congers/Rockland area.

Pay: $48,000.00 - $62,000.00 per year
