Denver, CO Compensation:
$80,000–$120,000 DOE + Benefits
Role Overview The Security Analyst plays a central role within a lean, collaborative enterprise security team supporting a large, distributed environment. This position is ideal for a Security Analyst who enjoys solving complex problems, strengthening cybersecurity operations, and partnering with cross‑functional teams. The role includes monitoring, triaging, and maturing security tools and processes across the organization while supporting ongoing modernization efforts.

Key Responsibilities Security Monitoring & Incident Response
Manage and triage enterprise security alerts as a primary responsibility of the Security Analyst role.
Investigate suspicious activity, lead incident response actions, and document findings with clear remediation recommendations.
Conduct root cause analysis and coordinate with technical teams for effective remediation.
Security Tools Administration
Administer, optimize, and integrate tools such as:
Tanium
SentinelOne
Ironscales
Microsoft 365 security tools
EntraID Conditional Access
Ensure effective visibility and alignment across the security ecosystem.
Vulnerability Management
Perform vulnerability scanning, assessments, prioritization, and remediation coordination.
Track and communicate vulnerability trends and risk levels across teams.
Policy, Documentation & Governance
Create and update runbooks, playbooks, policies, and operational documentation.
Support alignment with security frameworks such as CIS Controls.
Training, Awareness & Collaboration
Deliver security awareness education and contribute to a stronger security culture.
Collaborate with MSPs and distributed IT teams to ensure consistent practices and risk reduction.
Reporting & Continuous Improvement
Build and present security metrics, incident data, and operational reports.
Recommend improvements to tools, workflows, and response processes.
Required Qualifications
3+ years of experience in security, infrastructure operations, or technical support roles relevant to a Security Analyst.
Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills across multiple systems and environments.
Hands-on exposure to platforms such as ReliaQuest, Tanium, SentinelOne, Ironscales, M365 security tools, MFA, and Conditional Access.
Strong communication skills, with the ability to work effectively across distributed teams.
Ability to prioritize, stay organized, and handle multiple concurrent tasks.
Demonstrated initiative and desire to grow as a Security Analyst in a modern security environment.
Education & Certifications (Preferred)
Bachelor’s degree in MIS, Computer Science, CIS, IT, or equivalent practical experience.
Technical certifications (e.g., Microsoft, security-focused credentials) are a plus.
Travel & Schedule
Flexible work environment with periodic travel (up to ~20%)
