Data Analyst

This is a full-time position requiring on-site work five days a week at a client's office in Washington, D.C. An active Top-Secret clearance is mandatory. Essential Duties and Responsibilities: Design and maintain robust data pipelines that integrate data from various sources, ensuring efficient and reliable processing. Implement effective ETL (Extract, Transform, Load) processes using tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, Informatica, or similar technologies. Manage and optimize database operations using SQL, working with modern data warehousing platforms like AWS Redshift. Engage with data analysts and stakeholders to identify data requirements and adapt them into effective back-end solutions. Create scalable and efficient data architectures that prioritize performance optimization and data integrity. Perform thorough testing and validation of data processes to uphold high levels of data quality and reliability. Troubleshoot and resolve data-related issues promptly to ensure seamless business operations. Document key data processes, workflows, and solutions to foster knowledge sharing and collaboration within the team. Stay informed about emerging technologies and best practices in data engineering and development. Required Skills: 3+ years of data analysis experience. Proficiency in SQL with a solid understanding of database systems. Experience with ETL and data orchestration tools such as Apache Airflow, AWS Glue, or Informatica. Familiarity with cloud platforms, particularly AWS. Knowledge of data warehousing and data integration techniques. Solid understanding of data processing and performance optimization. Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as Statistics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or Business Analytics. Desired Skills/Experience: Experience with federal data modernization or analytics programs. This position requires five days a week on-site at the customer location in Washington, D.C.
