Overview
Position Overview
As the Sr. Network Engineer, you will play a critical role in shaping and establishing network standards to ensure optimal performance and security. Analyzing and resolving complex network related issues for seamless operation. Conduct comprehensive analysis and testing of all elements within network infrastructure and design secure nationwide networks that align with business objectives and establishes standards to guide implementations. This position requires a proactive individual with strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of network design and security.
Responsibilities and Qualifications
Key Responsibilities Network Design & Implementation Designs secure network solutions that maximize the sharing of applications, information, and resources across the company. Evaluates, tests, recommends, and implement5s specific network solutions. Independently analyze and provide innovative solutions to network engineering and design projects. Develops advanced/leading-edge technologies and/or concepts. Vendor & Resource Coordination Coordinates with multiple vendors/departments to procure network-related hardware, software, and services.
Troubleshooting & Optimization Investigates and resolves problems, inefficiencies, and performance issues
Integration & Strategy Reverse engineer and develop solutions/strategy for onboarding and converting acquired companies into FBM's standard network technology stack.
Mentorship & Team Development Mentor junior network administrators and engineers.

Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in computer science, Information Technology, or related field or equivalent years of experience. 8+ years of relevant experience in Network Engineering role Develops innovative solutions to problems without precedent. Ensures solutions are aligned with current and future needs and expectations. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills. Expert knowledge of TCP/IP and common routing protocols such as OSPF, BGP, HSRP and QoS Expert knowledge of common LAN, WAN, WLAN and SD-WAN architectures and methodologies Expert knowledge of network security including firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention, LAN segmentation and network access controls Expert knowledge of public cloud hosting network features, strong preference given towards Microsoft's Azure platform Proficient in disaster recovery environments and business continuity Experience with Cisco, Palo Alto Firewalls, Palo Alto Panorama, Palo Alto Prisma Access, Meraki, and VeloCloud SDWAN is a strong plus. Compensation
The listed pay range reflects the expected base rate for this position; actual compensation may vary based on factors such as experience, qualifications, and cost of living in the assigned market. This is a full-time position with competitive pay and benefits.
Base: $140,000 - $160,000 / Annual Bonus: This position is bonus eligible Total Compensation (Base + Bonus): The successful candidate could reasonably expect a Total Compensation Package in the range of $161,000-$192,400 Job Type:
