Our client, a key player in the defence and security sector, is seeking a Network Engineer with SC clearance to support their technical teams in Corsham. This role involves designing, developing, and testing core networking components within a secure environment. You will work on a mix of remote and on-site days, providing crucial expertise to underpin vital infrastructure projects.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, build, and validate networking components for the NSoIT(D) Platform, ensuring they meet operational requirements. Produce and review detailed network design artefacts across various stages of the project lifecycle. Support system testing activities, troubleshooting, and resolving network issues promptly. Collaborate with system and service management teams to maintain system integrity and security. Ensure configurations align with security standards, with experience in routing protocols such as OSPF and BGP. Implement hierarchical IP subnetting and manage network infrastructure including routers, switches, and firewalls. Configure and manage VXLAN overlays, dual cloud solutions, and advanced network architectures like Leaf & Spine.
Job Requirements:
