Location: Portland, OR 97239 100% REMOTE - Local preferred, but not required Working Hours: 8am-5pm Pacific standard time Contract: 22-week contract Description: Research Data Engineer working with SQL Server and Oracle platforms to assist with research data projects. Full PD available with details. Requirements: Education: Bachelor's degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and six years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Associate's degree in computer science, a related field, or a clinical field and seven years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR Eight years work related experience in the information technology field or a combination of clinical or operational healthcare environments; OR equivalent combination of education and experience where one year of experience will be substituted for an Associate's degree and two years of experience will be substituted for a Bachelor's degree. Experience: Two or more years of paid work experience as a Systems/Application Analyst or Application Administrator. 4 years of experience applying advanced MS SQL server knowledge in the use of SSIS, T-SQL, Stored Procedure, and database object definition. 3 years supporting and maintaining a Data Warehouse and associated ETL Experience reporting on the Epic Clarity Database. Experience reporting on the Epic Caboodle Data Warehouse. Experience gathering and documenting business requirements and planning and managing projects. Experience managing small to medium-sized projects, tracking progress with project planning software, creating and maintaining project documentation
