Junior Data Analyst
to join our team in Houston, TX. This opportunity is specifically designed for
recent graduates from the 2025 or 2026 batch
who are eager to launch their careers in data analytics. The ideal candidate should possess strong analytical thinking, foundational technical skills, and a passion for transforming data into meaningful business insights. This is a full-time, on-site role offering hands-on exposure to real-world data challenges, cross-functional collaboration, and professional growth opportunities. Key Responsibilities Collect, clean, validate, and analyze structured and unstructured datasets. Develop reports and dashboards to support business decision-making. Assist in identifying trends, patterns, and anomalies in data. Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand reporting requirements. Perform data validation and ensure accuracy and integrity of datasets. Support senior analysts in developing predictive and descriptive analytics models. Document analysis processes, methodologies, and findings. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives related to data processes. Required Qualifications Bachelors or masters degree in: Data Science Statistics Mathematics Computer Science Information Systems Engineering Economics or related quantitative field Graduation year:
2025 or 2026 only Strong foundational knowledge of statistics and data analysis concepts. Proficiency in
Microsoft Excel
(formulas, pivot tables, data analysis tools). Basic to intermediate knowledge of
SQL . Familiarity with at least one programming language such as
Python or R . Understanding of data visualization tools such as
Tableau or Power BI . Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Preferred Skills Academic or internship experience in data analysis projects. Knowledge of databases and data warehousing concepts. Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP) is a plus. Understanding of ETL processes and data pipelines.
