Pay Range: $77.79hr - $82.79hr
The DevOps Engineer IV is responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure solutions. This role focuses on AWS environments, automation, CI/CD pipeline development, infrastructure as code, and performance optimization to support application deployment and operational excellence. Job Responsibilities:
Modify existing software to correct errors, adapt to new hardware, and improve overall performance. Implement integrations as requested by internal and external customers. nalyze user needs and software requirements to determine design feasibility within time and cost constraints. Coordinate software system installations and monitor equipment to ensure specifications are met. Design, develop, and modify software systems using scientific analysis and modeling techniques. nalyze and recommend computer specifications, layouts, and peripheral equipment modifications. Evaluate reporting formats, cost considerations, and security needs to determine appropriate hardware configurations. ssist in the design, implementation, and management of AWS infrastructure using EKS, ECS, API Gateway, and related technologies. utomate deployment processes using Terraform, CloudFormation, and scripting languages. Participate in monitoring, alerting, and performance optimization to ensure high availability. Collaborate with development teams to integrate and deploy applications in AWS environments. Troubleshoot and resolve infrastructure and application deployment issues. Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines. Implement best practices for security, scalability, and cost optimization within AWS. Document processes, configurations, and system architecture. Stay current with AWS services and DevOps trends. Required Skills:
Strong knowledge of DevOps principles and best practices. Experience with DevOps tools such as Puppet, Kubernetes, Jenkins, or similar tools. Strong understanding of computer hardware and software systems. Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker, EKS, and Kubernetes. Experience with Infrastructure as Code tools, specifically Terraform. Experience with monitoring tools such as CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Grafana. Experience with configuration management tools such as Packer or Ansible. Experience with relational databases such as SQL or PostgreSQL. Proficiency in at least one scripting language such as Python or Bash. Experience building and managing CI/CD pipelines. Strong knowledge of Linux operating systems. Strong problem-solving, analytical, communication, and collaboration skills. bility to work independently and manage time effectively. Proactive mindset with willingness to learn and adapt. Education and Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field required, or equivalent practical experience.
