In this role, you will undertake diverse and challenging tasks that require independent judgment to implement and maintain architecture and integrations with Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA), ensuring we meet our customers' unique needs. You'll apply Oracle methodologies, company procedures, and leading practices to elevate every project. Responsibilities Key Duties Include: Lead OIPA solution architecture, design, and configuration for medium to large-scale implementations in the insurance and financial services sectors.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to transform complex requirements into efficient, adaptable OIPA solutions.
Act as a reliable advisor to client stakeholders, guiding decision-making, enhancing adoption, and ensuring every project achieves measurable business value.
Preemptively identify challenges—troubleshooting functional and integration issues, optimizing performance, and ensuring seamless deployments.
Contribute to planning, estimation, and delivery best practices to shape successful roadmaps, keeping projects on track and clients satisfied.
Mentor junior consultants, ensuring high-quality deliverables and maintaining a standard of excellence in delivery.
What You'll Bring A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
A minimum of 5 years' experience configuring and implementing Oracle Insurance Policy Administration (OIPA) solutions.
Proficiency in XML, SQL, relational databases, and a deep understanding of OIPA product architecture.
Hands-on experience with OIPA configuration.
Proven track record managing the complete software delivery lifecycle—from gathering requirements to deployment.
Exceptional communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management capabilities.
Fluency in English and comfort working in dynamic, client-facing environments.
Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time.
Bonus Points If You Have Familiarity with life insurance or annuity products, underwriting, reinsurance, and policy administration processes.
Experience in Agile development environments.
Background in integrating OIPA with third-party systems or digital platforms.
A passion for insurance technology innovation with participation in industry forums or thought leadership initiatives.
Salary and Benefits: Salary range: $97,500 to $199,500 per annum, with potential eligibility for bonuses and equity.
