Senior Cloud Solutions Engineer/Administrator
is responsible for the programming and administration of cloud solutions within the company's application portfolio. This role plays a critical part in the development and maintenance lifecycle across various business units or corporate departments utilizing diverse technology platforms. Key Responsibilities: Administer and maintain a cloud environment and associated solutions. Build and maintain strong relationships with customers to understand their business requirements. Lead requirements gathering meetings and review designs with stakeholders. Develop and prioritize enhancements to the application. Define the scope and objectives of applications, overseeing technical and functional specification preparations. Conduct technical and code design reviews to ensure quality and compliance. Ensure successful completion of unit tests, system testing, and implementation plans. Deliver application technology solutions and manage data information planning. Coordinate on-call support and manage the system monitoring process. Lead multiple large projects and facilitate group sessions for requirements gathering. Evaluate and analyze vendor offerings to ensure optimal solutions. Support and enhance operations within an AWS environment, utilizing AWS tools for application maintenance, monitoring, and DevSecOps. Minimum Requirements: BA/BS degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, with at least 7 years of experience in multi-platform and business technical applications; or a combination of education and experience providing equivalent background. This role is part of the National Government Services division, which requires foreign national applicants to have resided in the United States for at least three of the past five years. Preferred Skills and Experience: Strong proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, JavaScript, and Python. Familiarity with web development frameworks like React.js, Node.js, and Express.js. Experience with AWS services such as EC2, Lambda, S3, and IAM. Proficient in DevSecOps tools like Docker, Jenkins, and Terraform. Demonstrated leadership in small projects and troubleshooting support. Self-starter who requires minimal supervision. For candidates working in person or virtually in the below location(s), the salary range for this specific position is $127,764 to $191,646. Locations: Baltimore, MD; Latham, NY In addition to your salary, Elevance Health offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive programs and a 401k contribution plan (subject to eligibility requirements).
