Job Description
This position will be responsible for the analysis, design, testing, development and maintenance of best in class software experiences. The candidate is a self-motivated individual who can collaborate with a team and across the organization. The candidate takes responsibility of the software artifacts produced adhering to U.S. Bank standards in order to ensure minimal impact to the customer experience. The candidate will be adept with the agile software development lifecycle and DevOps principles.
Essential Responsibilities:
Application Development:
Implement data processing and AI features using
Azure Synapse Analytics
,
Azure Databricks
,
Azure Data Factory
, and
Azure Machine Learning
.
Data Integration & AI Enablement:
Develop ETL pipelines and integrate AI services like
Azure Cognitive Services
and
Azure AI Search
into applications.
Cloud & Deployment Support:
Assist in containerization and deployment using
Docker
,
Kubernetes
, and CI/CD pipelines.
Collaboration:
Work closely with offshore engineers for development and testing; ensure smooth handoffs and communication.
Release Management:
Support weekend deployments and production releases, including validation and rollback procedures.
Continuous Learning:
Stay updated on Azure analytics and AI advancements; apply best practices in coding and testing.
Basic Qualifications
Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
Three to five years of relevant experience
Preferred Skills/Experience
Programming:
Strong hands on coding skills in
Python
,
Java
, or
Scala and
SQL skills for data manipulation.
Azure Services:
Experience with
Azure Synapse

Databricks

Data Factory

Stream Analytics

Exposure to

Strong communication skills for collaborating with onshore and offshore teams.
Ability to work in agile environments and adapt to changing priorities.
Willingness to support weekend deployments and release activities.
Location Expectations
The role offers a hybrid/flexible schedule, which means there's an in-office expectation of 3 or more days per week and the flexibility to work outside the office location for the other days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00
