Work Location & Flexibility
This position is based in our New York City office and follows a hybrid work model. Employees are expected to work onsite at least one day per week. Some teams or roles may require additional inoffice days based on collaboration needs or operational priorities.
Responsibilities
Design and implement serverside logic and functionality, ensuring efficient data processing and management Create, maintain, and optimize databases with a focus on integrity, performance, and security Develop and maintain RESTful APIs for internal and external integrations Implement security measures, including authentication, encryption, and protection against vulnerabilities Collaborate with frontend engineers to ensure seamless integration of backend and UI components Optimize platform performance using best practices and modern tooling Identify, debug, and resolve issues across the stack Write and maintain clear documentation for code, processes, and standards Stay current with emerging trends, frameworks, and tools in backend and AIrelated development What You Bring
5+ years of experience using Python for backend development Experience building RESTful APIs Familiarity with MongoDB and/or Redis Interest in LLMs and emerging AI technologies Understanding of distributed systems and multithreading Strong problemsolving skills and enthusiasm for collaborative work Growth mindset, willingness to learn, and ability to contribute across various initiatives Bachelor's degree in computer science or a related engineering discipline
