Summary: As a Data Scientist at Meta, you'll play a vital role in shaping our diverse and innovative products across platforms like Facebook, Instagram, Messenger, WhatsApp, and Oculus. By leveraging your technical expertise and analytical skills, you will help enhance the experiences we deliver to billions of users and millions of businesses globally. Collaborating with cross-functional teams, you'll tackle a variety of product and business challenges using one of the world’s richest datasets. Your Role: Utilize large and complex datasets to tackle diverse and challenging problems using advanced analytical techniques.
Employ your technical expertise in quantitative analysis and data mining to inform product strategies that impact billions.
Identify and assess the success of product initiatives through key metrics, forecasting, and trend analysis.
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to define, evaluate, and optimize product opportunities and strategies.
Communicate actionable insights and recommendations to support product development and roadmaps.
Minimum Qualifications: A Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
At least 2 years of experience in analytics, including proficiency in SQL, Python, or R.
Demonstrated experience in applying quantitative approaches to solve analytical challenges, focusing on user behavior and product trends.
Proven track record of leading data-driven projects from conception to execution.
Preferred Qualifications: A Master’s or Ph.D. in a quantitative field.
Compensation: $119,000/year to $173,000/year plus bonuses, equity, and benefits. Industry:
