About
Helping our client in Fort Worth seek a Senior Network Engineer. Extensive experience with Cisco Catalyst switches, Nexus, ASA and Firepower will be needed. Primary responsibility for
network security operations , with a strong emphasis on
Cisco ASA firewall administration Configure, manage, and troubleshoot
Cisco ASA firewalls , including:
Access control lists (ACLs) NAT / PAT IPSec VPN tunnels (site-to-site and remote access) Certificates and firewall security policies
Monitor and proactively address
network security risks and vulnerabilities Support and maintain secure connectivity across multiple sites and environments Collaborate with internal teams and vendors on
security-related changes and incidents Participate in security planning, audits, and compliance efforts (healthcare environment) Routing & Switching (Limited Scope - ~10%)
Provide limited support for
Cisco Catalyst and Nexus switches Perform basic configuration and troubleshooting, including:
VLANs and trunking Port configuration Connectivity troubleshooting
Support network stability in both
campus and data center environments Escalate or collaborate on complex routing/switching design work as needed
