Minimum Qualifications: Currently enrolled in or nearing completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related technical field, or possess equivalent practical experience (degree completion required before joining Meta).
Two or more years of programming experience in a relevant language OR a PhD with at least 9 months of programming experience in a relevant language.
Demonstrated ability to set technical direction for teams and successfully drive cross-functional partnerships.
Experience building maintainable and testable codebases, including API design and unit testing techniques.
Preferred Qualifications: Two or more years of experience in areas such as machine learning, recommendation systems, pattern recognition, data mining, artificial intelligence, or a related field.
Experience in developing machine learning models from inception to realizing business impact.
Familiarity with architectural patterns of large-scale software applications.
Experience with scripting languages such as PyTorch, TensorFlow, Python, JavaScript, or Hack.
Proven ability to translate insights into actionable business recommendations.
Experience in enhancing quality through thoughtful code reviews, comprehensive testing, proper rollout, monitoring, and proactive improvements.
Knowledge of development and debugging in C/C++ and Java, or experience with scripting languages like Python, Perl, PHP, and/or shell scripts.
Public Compensation: $58.65/hour to $181,000/year plus bonus, equity, and benefits. Industry:
