Principal DevOps Developer
, you will play a key role in designing and delivering the next generation of Oracle Internet of Things (IoT) Platform components on OCI. You will work across cloud infrastructure
layers,
Oracle Autonomous Database
and
Java microservices
to build scalable, reliable, and high-performing systems. Qualifications: Education BS or MS degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. Experience 4 or more years of software development experience, including 3 or more years in a senior or lead DevOps engineering role focused on
cloud-native
applications. Core Skills Helm
: design, maintenance, and support of Helm charts
Terraform
: design, maintenance, and support of infrastructure and continuous delivery automation
Java
: strong understanding of design principles, concurrency, and microservices architecture
Cloud experience
with major platforms (OCI preferred)
Observability
: metrics, logs, and tracing (Grafana, OCI Monitoring, OCI APM/Logging)
Docker and Kubernetes
: containerization and orchestration of Java and database-integrated workloads
Cloud networking and security fundamentals
Version control and CI/CD
tools and practices
Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills
across application and database layers.

Experience with

Paid time off: Flexible Vacation is provided to all eligible employees assigned to a salaried (non-overtime eligible) position. Accrued Vacation is provided to all other employees eligible for vacation benefits. For employees working at least 35 hours per week, the vacation accrual rate is 13 days annually for the first three years of employment and 18 days annually for subsequent years of employment. Vacation accrual is prorated for employees working between 20 and 34 hours per week. Employees working fewer than 20 hours per week are not eligible for vacation.
