Job Summary
We are seeking a highly experienced
Cloud Architect
to lead the end-to-end cloud architecture and implementation lifecycle. This role is responsible for translating complex business requirements into
secure, scalable, cost-effective cloud solutions . The Cloud Architect will work closely with business leaders, engineering teams, and operations to define cloud strategies, create architecture blueprints, and guide enterprise-scale cloud migrations and modernization initiatives across cloud environments.
Key Responsibilities
Cloud Architecture & Strategy
Design and implement robust, scalable, and cost-optimized cloud architectures. Define multi-account AWS strategies aligned with security and governance best practices. Evaluate and recommend new cloud technologies for enterprise adoption. Drive cloud roadmap planning and architecture decision-making. Security & Governance
Design and enforce IAM frameworks following least-privilege principles. Implement layered security controls across infrastructure and applications. Monitor cloud usage, enforce governance policies, and manage cost controls. Ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and best practices. Infrastructure Automation & DevOps
Lead Infrastructure-as-Code initiatives using
Terraform
for AWS. Establish and optimize CI/CD pipelines aligned with DevOps best practices. Automate cloud provisioning, deployment, and configuration management. Hybrid & Enterprise Connectivity
Architect secure and high-performance hybrid solutions integrating on-premises environments with cloud platforms. Design connectivity using Direct Connect, VPNs, and Transit Gateway. Ensure reliability, scalability, and secure data flow across environments. Application Modernization
Guide development teams on cloud-native design, microservices architecture, and containerization. Improve application scalability, resilience, and fault tolerance. Support modernization of legacy systems to cloud-native platforms. Monitoring, Observability & Cost Optimization
Implement monitoring and observability using
CloudWatch, X-Ray, and CloudTrail . Design proactive alerting and incident response strategies. Optimize cloud costs using
Cost Explorer, Budgets, and Savings Plans . Documentation & Roadmaps
Produce detailed architecture diagrams, technical documentation, and implementation roadmaps. Clearly communicate cloud strategies to both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Qualifications
Experience
15+ years of overall software engineering experience with high-impact product delivery. Minimum
5+ years of hands-on experience designing and implementing complex AWS cloud architectures . Proven experience with enterprise-scale cloud migrations and modernization initiatives. AWS Core Infrastructure
Expert-level knowledge of:
Compute & Containers:
EC2, ECS, EKS, Lambda, Fargate Storage:
S3, EBS, Storage Gateway
AWS Data & Database Technologies
Advanced experience with:
RDS, Aurora, DynamoDB ElastiCache, Redshift
Networking & Security
Deep expertise in:
VPC design, Transit Gateway, Route 53 Direct Connect and hybrid connectivity Security services: IAM, KMS, Secrets Manager, WAF, Shield, GuardDuty, Security Hub
Automation & DevOps
Advanced hands-on experience with
Terraform
for AWS infrastructure automation. Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices. Preferred Qualifications
Exposure to
Google Cloud Platform (CloudOps)
in multi-cloud environments. Experience with distributed systems and cloud-native application architectures. Strong stakeholder communication and leadership skills.
