Senior Design Engineer
to take ownership of complex, high-risk life safety projects from concept through to delivery. This is not a drafting role. This is a
lead-from-the-front design position
for someone who understands that great design is not about drawings alone - it's about risk, compliance, constructability, and protecting people in critical environments. You will be trusted to: Lead the full design lifecycle for large-scale fire suppression and life safety systems Take responsibility for technical authority, design assurance, and regulatory compliance Translate client requirements into buildable, coordinated, and commercially sound solutions Interface with project managers, installers, authorities, and end-users with confidence and credibility Review, challenge and improve specifications, calculations, layouts, and methodologies Mentor junior designers and raise the technical standard of the whole function Act as the calm, competent voice when programmes are tight and decisions matter We are looking for someone who: Has deep experience in
