About
They are seeking a Design Manager to lead drawing production and coordinate façade design delivery across multiple projects.
The Role
This is a hands-on design management position focused on coordination, dimensional accuracy and buildability.
You will:

Manage an in-house team of designers
*
Coordinate specialist façade subcontract designers
*
Oversee production of technical and construction drawings
*
Conduct site visits where as-built drawings are unavailable
*
Ensure dimensional accuracy prior to fabrication and order placement
*
Liaise with Building Control and BSR where required
*
Support remediation proposals and technical solutions
This role requires a balance of office-based design management and practical site interface.
Ideal Background
*
Proven experience in façade / cladding / EWI design coordination
*
Strong knowledge of remediation works
*
Experience managing internal design teams
*
Ability to coordinate specialist façade packages
*
Understanding of regulatory requirements

Commercial awareness relating to procurement and order placement
