The Role We are seeking an experienced Electrical Design Engineer to provide electrical controls design, development, and support for special purpose, automation, and materials handling equipment. This role will work on projects and product lines, contributing to the concept, design, build, and ongoing support of complex electro-mechanical systems.
Key Responsibilities:
Design and develop electrical systems for bespoke automation and materials handling equipment, ensuring compliance with project requirements, cost targets, and schedules. Create electrical schematics, control panels, and associated documentation using EPLAN Electric P8, including detailed Bills of Materials. Ensure designs are reliable, maintainable, and assembly-friendly. Conduct fault finding and root cause analysis during design, build, commissioning, and support phases.
