About
**Key Accountabilities:**
+ Audits and Assessments: Monitor and test to ensure compliance with privacy regulations and internal policies.
+ Data Protection: monitor processes and controls to endure the protection of sensitive data, including personal and financial information.
+ Risk Management: Identify and assess privacy and data security risks across the organization.
+ Training and Awareness: provide guidance and training staff on privacy and data protection.
+ Privacy Incident Response: participate in privacy incident management and collaborate with Privacy & Legal Counsel on legislative updates.
+ Stakeholder Engagement: Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders, including legal, IT, and compliance teams, to address privacy and data security issues.
+ Reporting: Maintain accurate records and documentation of all privacy and data incidents.
+ Prepare and present privacy reports to senior management.
**Required Qualifications:**
+ Bachelor's degree in Law, Information Security, or a related field. A master's degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CIPP, CIPM, CISSP) is preferred.
+ At least 2 years of experience in data privacy, data protection, or information security roles.
+ Knowledge of Canada data privacy laws and regulations.
+ Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
+ Demonstrated ability to lead manage projects and drive organizational change.
+ Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple priorities effectively.
**Preferred Qualifications:**
+ Bilingualism (English and French) is an asset. If the successful candidate is in Québec, proficiency in both languages will be required to support clients from various provinces outside of Quebec.

**Salary range is expected to be between**
$70,500.00 CAD - $117,500.00 CAD
Employees also have the opportunity to participate in incentive programs and earn incentive compensation tied to business and individual performance.
