About
**Key Responsibilities**
+ Ensuring timely completion and adherence to preventive maintenance plans
+ Engage in the operation of facilities management
+ Manage and maintain facility assets
+ Participate in Operations and Maintenance (O&M) planning of site operations (resourcing, contractor scheduling etc.)
+ Oversee maintenance services using CMMS platform.
+ Identify minor repairs works to drive run rate
+ Budget and financial management
+ Third party contract management
+ OH&S risk assessment
+ Supervision of the planning and monitoring of preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, as well as renovation and expansion projects
+ Lead and guide direct reports
+ Recruit, retain, and develop high quality talent.
+ Lead Health, Safety and Environment compliance.
+ Resolve problems
+ Support cost and inventory reduction targets
+ Plan facilities repairs and upgrades
**MUST HAVE**
+ Minimum of 5 years of leadership experience
+ Minimum of 7 years of experience in facilities management and/or building maintenance including supervision of trades resources
+ Minimum of 3 years of experience in emergency maintenance
**WE VALUE**
+ Previous experience in P3 operations
+ Understanding of legislative requirements (e.g. Canadian Standards Association, Technical Standards and Safety Authority, Electrical Safety Authority, Building Code, NFPA Code, Ministry of Labor, Accessibility Act)
+ Some experience in education institutions
+ Ability to motivate team members and drive results
+ Ability to lead/drive change, and influence others
