POSITION SUMMARY
The Group Sales Coordinator's primary functions are the use of various programs for product build, reporting, and ensuring the team is on task. Collaboration with other departments is key in this position to ensure guest satisfaction. This is a benefit eligible, full-time year round position. Compensation for this role is $21.00/hour.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES
Work with Group Sales Department aiding in product sales as needed to ensure Stratton can deliver on products sold Follow contracts to completion Product build in multiple in-house systems Product build in third party systems Manage Internal booking pipeline Oversee comp room nights Create group bookings in systems (SMS) Assist with Delphi Admin responsibilities Work with call center to ensure information regarding call in groups is relayed to agents Represent Stratton at industry related trade shows Assist Event Planners and Sales Managers with on-site events and site tours Additional duties as assigned
EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS
Education:
High School Diploma, or equivalent, required Associates or Bachelor's degree, preferred Experience:
Previous experience in Delphi and SMS systems, preferred QUALIFICATIONS, KNOWLEDGE, SKILL AND ABILITY REQUIREMENTS
Must possess an ability to quickly adapt to changing sales conditions or requirements Highly driven and persistent Adaptability, capable of multitasking Capable of working productively and remotely with minimal direct supervision Ability to accommodate moderate travel schedule Strong computer skills/Microsoft Word, Power Point, Delphi Strong written and verbal communication skills Ability to work a flexible schedule including evenings/weekends Superior organizational and follow-up skills Strong attention to detail
TRAVEL REQUIREMENTS
Some travel required to local and regional trade shows
PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORKING CONDITIONS
This position may be required to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
