Renovation & Construction

We’re looking for a senior construction Project Manager who wants real ownership — of projects, profitability, compliance, and performance.

This role is primarily responsible for leading renovation projects from start to finish, while also strengthening operational systems as we grow.

This is a hands-on leadership role — not a desk-only operations job.

What You’ll Be Responsible For

Project Leadership (Primary Focus)

You will own your projects completely:

  • Budgets and margin protection
  • Scheduling and subcontractor coordination
  • Client communication
  • Change orders and cost control
  • Site visits and quality control
  • Delivering projects safely, on time, and on budget

You are accountable for results.

Regulatory Compliance & Documentation

You will also be directly responsible for:

  • Applying for and securing all required municipal permits
  • Ensuring compliance with Alberta building codes and OH&S regulations
  • Coordinating required inspections
  • Maintaining accurate and complete project documentation
  • Ensuring all regulatory records, safety documentation, and compliance files are properly maintained

If you are not comfortable owning compliance and documentation, this role is not the right fit.

Operational Leadership (Secondary Focus)

In addition to your own projects, you will:

  • Improve systems and documentation standards
  • Support workflow coordination across active jobs
  • Mentor supervisors and forepersons
  • Help ownership forecast capacity and performance

What We’re Looking For

  • Proven renovation and construction project management experience more than 4 years.
  • Strong knowledge of Alberta regulatory and permitting processes
  • High financial awareness and job costing ability
  • Excellent organization and documentation discipline
  • Leadership presence and clear communication
  • A proactive, solution-oriented mindset

Why This Role Stands Out

  • Direct collaboration with ownership
  • Real authority and accountability
  • Opportunity to grow into broader operational leadership
  • Competitive compensation based on experience

You will have real ownership of your projects, influence over operations, and direct access to ownership. Your leadership will directly impact profitability, client satisfaction, and company growth.

This is a career-growth opportunity for someone who wants to move beyond basic project coordination and into strategic leadership.
